About Us

The Mental Health Association of Great Falls was formed in 1974 to educate and inform local citizens about mental health issues affecting everyone. We work in cooperation with Montana Mental Health Association and the National Mental Health Association to provide services and distribute resources.

What We Do:

  • Sponsor conferences for health care providers and/or the public.
  • Distribute approximately 1,500 educational brochures and pamphlets yearly on all mental health issues.
  • Support the Eating Disorder Task Force of Great Falls .
  • Present lectures on Awareness and Prevention of Eating Disorders to over 800 students a year in Great Falls and surrounding communities.
  • Distribute information to Public Libraries for May is Mental Health Month.
  • Provide Depression and Anxiety Screening.

Maintain affiliations with state and national organizations, like the Montana Mental Health Association and Mental Health America.
